Hegang, also known as Haoli, is a wonderful city in Heilongjiang province of the People's Republic of China. It has a rich history and culture, as well as abundant natural resources. Hegang is located in the southeast of the Lesser Khingan Range, a beautiful mountain range that stretches across northeastern China. Hegang is close to Jiamusi, a major city on the Songhua River, and to Russia, a friendly neighbor on the Heilongjiang River. Hegang is famous for its coal industry, which has been developing for over a century and contributes to the national economy.
