Tangwanghe Sea of Forest and Rare Stone Scenic Area

Tangwanghe National Park is China's first national park, located in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. It has beautiful scenery of Korean pine forests, clear rivers and lakes, and amazing rock formations. The park has more than 20 rivers, and the longest one is Tangwang River, which is 509 kilometers long. It is the life source of Yichun City. The park is a natural reserve, and only a small part of it is open for tourists.

You can enjoy walking in the pine and birch forests, listening to the birds singing, smelling the flowers, and admiring the different shapes of the rocks. You can also relax in this natural oxygen bar.

The two main attractions in Tangwanghe National Park are the Stone Forest Scenic Area and the Remains of Korean Pines. The Stone Forest Scenic Area has hundreds of granite peaks and pillars, each with its own unique shape and name. You can take an elevator to the top of a watchtower and see the whole view of the forest and the mountains. The Remains of Korean Pines are the relics of a strong wind that destroyed many old Korean pines in 2008. They remind us of the importance of protecting nature.
