Bengbu activity map
Bengbu is a charming city in northern Anhui Province, China. It used to be called P'engpu or Peng-pu, which means "Oyster Wharf" in Chinese. This name reflects its history as a place where people harvested freshwater pearls from the Huai River. Bengbu is also known as Pearl City for this reason.
