This district covers a whopping 597,373 acres of the San Juan National Forest in Colorado, spanning three counties: Dolores, Montezuma and San Miguel. You can find stunning scenery and diverse recreation opportunities here, from the majestic La Plata Mountains to the scenic Lizard Head Pass. The district staff work hard to manage this precious land, and they share an office with the BLM Tres Rios Field Office in Dolores.
