Fenghuang (Phoenix) Mountain

Fenghuang (Phoenix) Mountain is a famous historic mountain in western Liaoning, well known in ancient times as a Buddhist shrine. About 1660 years ago, historically the earliest temple of Northeast China, Longxiang Buddhist Temple, was established in the mountain, and is today regarded as the ancestral temple of Buddhism in Northeast China. Through a thousand years of ups and downs, three pagodas and several other relics are still extant. Apart from grand mountain scenery, the mountain is the important habitat of a rare bird, the black stork. 

Qianshan

The park is referred to as 'The Northeast Pearl'. The name Qianshan literally means 'Thousand mountains'. This is actually an abbreviation of the full name,  According to legend, a long time ago the four corners of the sky collapsed. The Goddess Nüwa wanted to save the people living below so she patched up the sky with stones. One stone was accidentally dropped to the ground where is splashed, throwing the earth into thousands of peaks in the shape of a lotus blossom. Thus Nüwa created Qianshan.

Laohutanwan

Laohutanwan in the state-level scenic spot - the middle of the southern coastal Dalian. Covers an area of 1,180,000 square meters, with more than 4,000 meters, winding coastline. Blue sky and water park, Castle Peak rocks, landscape fills the air, constitutes a beautiful seaside scenery.

Haizhiyun Park

Haizhiyun means sea melody in English. Located in the East of Dalian, Haizhiyun Square is surrounded by the sea on three sides and backed by mountains on the other.

There is a main sculpture and 26 super-realistic sculptures that are divided into 9 groups on the square. The fact that such a lot of super-realistic sculptures are set on one square is rare not only in China but also throughout the world.

Discovery Kingdom

Discovery Kingdom the amusement park features three sets of roller coasters, two water rides, a vertical drop tower and other attractions which make up approximately twenty rides in total. The most notable feature of the park is a giant stony-looking fortress built within a small lake in the centre. During the theme parks' opening season a parade roams through the internal paths at noon everyday, entertaining the visitors. At night fireworks are set off for the leaving visitors seeing their final exhibition.
