Danzhou Stone Flower Caves Geopark

The Danzhou Stone Flower Cave in Hainan is a natural marvel, a place where geology meets artistry in a dance of stone and water. Formed over 1.4 million years ago, this geopark boasts a dry cave stretching approximately 1.5 kilometers, with only 510 meters explored, revealing a treasure trove of geological wonders. Visitors can marvel at the stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars that tell a story of the earth's past.

Li Jiang(River) Cruise

This river cruise starts out on rafts powered by little trolling motors. They take you down river approximately one hour the views of the Karst landscape is stunning and you will take many pictures. You will then transfer to a larger cruise boat it has an upper deck where you will get amazing views of the landscape. There is a photographer on baord he will take pictures of you and your group if you want and then can sell you a print for 20 yuan. The Li River, or Lí Jiāng, is a jewel of Guangxi Province, China, renowned for its surreal karst landscape and tranquil waters.

Crown Cave

The cost to enter is 75 yuan. You can ride an electric car up for 30 yuan or hike up for free. It takes about half an hour to hike and the scenery is nice. To enter the cave you take an elevator down then walk into the palm tree room the largest in the cave. You can sample some flavored bai jiou (Chinese white liquor) then take an electric train about 500 meters. Walk down to the underground river then take boat on river approximately five minutes. To exit you walk along the river the sound of the water echos in the cave then ride the elevator back up.

Guilin Gudong Scenic Area

The cost to enter is 70 yuan. It is a nice hike through the forest, steps have been carved into the rock so you can climb up in the waterfalls for an additional fee. If you choose to climb the waterfall special gear is provided to keep you somewhat dry and for safety. There is a zip line across a canyon and a type of roller coaster ride down from the top they also cost additional. There are many photographers along the way that take your picture and offer to sell to you for 20 yuan. It takes approximately 2 hours to walk around the park.

Fort Bowie

Coronado Cave

This amazing cave is part of the Coronado National Memorial and is one of the few open, undeveloped caves in the region. You can explore the cave on your own, without a permit, and discover its wonders. The cave is a large cavern 600 feet long and 70 feet wide, with stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones and other formations. The cave may have been used by ancient people, Apache warriors, miners and settlers as a shelter and hideout.
